Bible Study - "A New Playlist - Hearing Jesus in A Noisy World"

Whether we know it or not, we are living with a playlist. Caused by schedule overload and multiple distractions, it causes stress and anxiety. There is a playlist that causes us great anxiety. Schedule overload and many distractions play into it. The playlist sounds like this: You have to do everything. You have to say "yes" to everything. You are supposed to be in all places at all times.

Jesus gives us a different playlist. It says: You are supposed to do two things: love God and love your neighbor. Saying no is often the best yes. You can only be one place at a time. This book addresses the anxiety, distraction addiction, and schedule overload that result from listening to the world's playlist and gives us permission to hear and live by Jesus' words.

Men's Bible Study - "Uncommon Manhood"

Too often we define a man’s success by what he has rather than who he is. But Super Bowl–winning coach and bestselling author Tony Dungy knows there’s a better way. His book Uncommon Manhood will help you to celebrate the men in your life who have character, integrity, and courage. Men with both confidence and humility. Men who know the value of family and faith. Men who are truly uncommon.

Bible Study "God's Messy Family"

The Bible does an excellent job helping us trace the ancestry of our faith family.

We will take an in-depth look at our faith lineage focusing specifically on the messy family dynamics found in the book of Genesis. As we begin to understand the life stories of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob and Esau we find that their pattern looks a lot like ours—we are called, we mess up, and God continues to redeem us.

Find out how your “messy family” fits into God’s family and how you are a part of God’s plan for the world.

Chapters include:

  1. The Myth of the Perfect Family

  2. The Gap Between What God Says and What You See

  3. No, Nothing Is Too Hard for the Lord

  4. Loss and Promise in the Family of God

  5. Promise Maker and Promise Keeper

  6. The Beauty of Imperfection
